Pine Tree Development Zones (PTZ)
Since the program's inception in 2004, 161 companies have been Pine Tree Zone certified. As a result, these companies have collectively proposed to create 4,515 new jobs, and invest $493,018,345 in to the Maine economy.

Tax Increment Financing (TIF)
In 2007, this tool assisted 22 communities to participate in local project financing within 32 approved districts, and an overall total planned investment of $529,000,000.
Governor's Training Initiative (GTI)
Jointly administered by the Departments of Economic & Community Development and Labor, this job training program in 2007 committed a total of $2,058,446 in grant awards to 40 companies. These grant funds will assist a total of 497 new hire trainees and 3,516 incumbent worker trainees.

Maine Products Marketing Program
This marketing program, which helps build recognition for hundreds of exceptional Maine made products, has 1900 members in total with 110 new members joining in 2007.
